MANDY EADES

Line Dance with ME

My club has been established since April 2019.  I am a fully qualified line dance instructor through Best Western Dance Academy (BWDA); complimented by both my degrees in teacher training (Cert Ed) and Management Studies.  I have an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) formally CRB check.  I attend national line dance workshops and regularly collaborate with other line dance instructors to learn new dances and styles.

My classes are for the absolute beginners to the advanced dancer. You can start as a beginner and the more you attend the more skills you will develop and the more you can progress.   Some of the steps come in groups, each with its own name which I will go over with you slowly.  Once you have a grasp of the basic moves, learning new dances will become easier.  Nobody will mind going over it a few more times (there are probably others in the room also glad to have more practice before moving on).

The great thing about line dancing is that anybody can do it and it’s a great way to get fit, plus you don't need a partner (although you can always bring one), it's great for going out and meeting people.

The dances are informal, social and lively without the pressure of performance in front of an audience. From the first week beginners will be able to immerse themselves fully into the routines and enjoy dancing to a whole range of music genres.  Routines are easy to learn and I can guarantee you will be dancing within 5 minutes of starting to learn your first dance.

Join me with a group of friends in one of my regular classes or book private lessons.  I am always happy to welcome new members to the group.  Drop in and see me– I would love to meet you!

My most popular dances I have choreographed are BRAVE, HERE WITH ME and I AM GiANT.  I started to choreograph dances for my dancers when I couldn’t find dances to suit their needs and to enable them to learn certain steps.

I run an evening class every Wednesday starting at 7:15 pm at Beacon Hall, French Close, Peasedown St John, Bath BA2 8SN in the local community hall.  I organise monthly socials on a Friday evening at this venue too.

I run two very popular evening classes at Roundhill Primary School, Mount Road, Southdown, Bath, BA2 1LG Monday (except bank holidays) and Thursday.

I organise Saturday workshops with myself and top international choreographers and monthly socials on a Friday to take place at St Philip and St James' Church, 35 Frome Road, Odd Down, Bath BA2 2QF.

I organise monthly socials, I invite top international choreographers to teach their latest dances at my workshops, evenings with country music performers, afternoon tea and Christmas parties.  I am available to book for your workshop, work or social party, event or birthday.
