BOOKING

  • People will be required to pre-book monthly classes to control number of attendees (no walk-ins)
  • People will be allocated a spot for each class when they pre-book
  • Email me to arrange a place.  Check my website for classes and my contact details

PAYMENT

  • Pay me electronically monthly either via bank transfer or PayPal, I will email you with the information
  • Cash, the correct amount monthly.  Your full name, total amount and reference MUST be written on the outside of the envelope along with the correct amount enclosed.  There will be a container on the stage for you to drop your monthly payment into when you come to your first class

TRANSPORT

  • If you’ve arranged transport to and from home, please ask your driver to wait in their vehicle, they MUST NOT enter the building
  • No spectators or non-dancers are invited into the halls

CAR PARK

  • Minimise the movement during class to the main hall, no congregating outside of hall or in car parks

DANCE FLOOR

  • Before each class, visible markings on dance floor so each individual knows their own area/spacing. (football cones to mark out spacing)
  • Social distancing guidelines will be applied so each person has 2m between them in each direction
  • Remember dance floor etiquette - see my website VARIOUS LINKS for do’s and don’ts list
  • It’s not very often we have partner or contra dancing but this will be inappropriate for the short term
  • Spacing of chairs/benches to allow for social distancing
  • Each individual allocated a space for the class (chair/table)
  • Hugging or kissing your friends for the short term is not appropriate

FACE COVERINGS

  • Face coverings can be removed if users are undertaking exercise or an activity where it would negatively impact their ability to do so
  • People will need a face covering to come into and move around the building
  • Digital temperature check on arrival

ENTRANCE/EXIT POINTS, WINDOWS & DOORS

  • Windows and doors will remain open to allow fresh air to circulate
  • One entrance/exit point and doors will be kept open with a wedge to avoid people having to open/close them

CLEANING, HAND WASHING, SANITISERS & TISSUES

  • Cleaning will take place before and between each class
  • Hand sanitisers available to all attendees (please bring and use your own too)
  • Hand sanitiser at entrance and by the toilets for attendees to use
  • A basket of cleaning material available in the hall eg spray, wipes, cloths
  • Dancers reminded to use/wash hands during class
  • Dancers reminded to use/wash hands on returning home
  • Catch it, Bin it, kill it, avoid touching mouth, eyes and nose reminder posters. Dispose of your own tissues, they MUST NOT be thrown into the normal waste bins

TOILETS

  • Entrance door to toilet area wedged open to allow access
  • One person to use facility at any one time, unless from the same household
  • Venue has made paper towels available in toilets

KITCHEN, FOOD & DRINKS

  • No kitchen facilities open to dancers in venue for the short term
  • Dancers to bring own food and drink with them and dispose of it themselves
  • All rubbish to be taken home and disposed of by dancers or myself

DANCE EQUIPMENT

  • Only instructor to touch their dance equipment/music/microphone
  • Any music requests given verbally to instructor (not written on paper and passed around)

DO NOT ATTEND IF:

  • In advance of sessions, any person with any of Covid-19 symptoms (below in bold) NOT TO ATTEND
  • A high temperature of over 37.8 degrees – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back.
  • A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).
  • Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
  • Safe place away from others where a person who becomes ill during class can be looked after
  • One person allocated to deal with ill person and to have protection (facemask, gloves) available

TRACK AND TRACE

  • Track and Trace records maintained on all dancers for 21 days so they can be traced in case of dancer becoming ill with the virus
